Call of Duty - World at War is the latest entry in the COD series. With the success achieved by last year's Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, I though it unlikely that another COD game could be as good as that one was. Luckily, I was mistaken. Call of Duty World at War brings the user back to WW2, a highly over-used scenario for first person shooters. However, by keeping the COD4 engine and adding several interesting features, they managed to create a thrilling and intensive game. The voice acting is great. Actors like Kiefer Sutherland comment on your every move, and it makes you feel like you are watching 24. I guess that's a good thing. The weapons are the only let-down that I could experience so far. They are not "modern," so going back to old weapons is proving to be tough. However, the game plays extremely well. It is realistic, fast-paced and stable. I haven't experienced a single crash so far. Multiplayer is the best part of any COD game, and this is the case too. However, the single-player campaign is also fun for those not so fond of the hectic multiplayer world. All in , COD5 has simply become the best WW2 first person shooter,.
